Our centered riding based educational program will include many facets of horsemanship including 1-2 hours of riding each day. Campers will be responsible for all aspects of horse care each day for one of our lesson horses or their own mount. There will be various unmounted lessons each day including feed and nutrition, types of equipment and equipment care, daily horse management, stall management, basic health and preventative care. Riding lessons will involve basic riding skills and more (depending on rider’s ability).
The cost for each camp is $295 per camper. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due with the registration form. Camps fill up quickly, so please select your preferred date(s) and sign up early.
Each camper is required to bring an ASTM certified riding helmet, boots with a small heel, long pants, and sunscreen. If your child does not own a helmet, one can be provided. Please also send a sack lunch each day. We will provide water to drink throughout the day. Weather permitting, we will also swim each day, so please send your rider with a swimsuit, towel and any swim gear they like to use.
