Mom of a Horse Crazy Girl

Tips, Advice, Thoughts from My Journey

EVERY RIDE, EVERY TIME

Parents often ask us, "what helmet should I buy..."  The first helmet we purchased was directed by Emily's first routine instructor.  She insisted on a specific helmet so we had no choice.  When we progressed to a new instructor, she said "pick whatever..."  Well I ended up with this larger helmet that made my daughter look like a bit like a mushroom!   We eventually moved on to a slim design that was no less safe, but was more stylish.  Today, her helmet is suitable for eventing competition, but you don't need to start there!  If you want a reasonably priced, stylish helmet for use in our lesson program, my recommendations are below.  If you haven't already, you can click on our Helmets tab for more information.
